Last Season of Brady to Moss?

The Boston Herald reported over the weekend that Randy Moss  believes that 2010 will be his last season in New England.  “I don’t think they’re going to re-sign me back. I’m not mad. I’m not bitter. It’s just the way things are in the NFL, so like I said, after this year, I’ll be looking for a new team.”

If Randy Moss is right, then this will be the last season with the Tom Brady to Moss connection.  In 2009, Moss [...]

Martz joins Bears as Offensive Coordinator

Mike Martz has been hired as the Offensive Coordinator for the Chicago Bears.  Can Martz create a 4,000 yard passer out of Jay Cutler as he did with Kurt Warner in St. Louis and John Kitna in Detroit?  Kurt Warner had something that Cutler does not have in Chicago, good wide receivers.  I dare not compare Tory Holt and Isaac Bruce to Devin Hester and Earl Bennett who both failed to break the Top 30 Wide Receivers in 2009 Fantasy [...]

Warner Retires

Kurt Warner decided to hang up the cleats today at the age of 38.  Warner has had a great career that should end in Canton.  Fantasy Football owners are losing a perennial Top 10 Quarterback who has thrown 208 TD’s over 124 regular season games in his career and he is second only to Dan Marino for career 300+ yard games.   However, the real losers next year will be Cardinal receivers Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin (if he is still with [...]

Sydney Rice – Top 5 WR for 2010?

Will Sydney Rice be a Top 5 Fantasy Wide Receiver in 2010?  He has all the physical skills and drive to be a top notch receiver, but I am not so optimistic that you should start looking at Rice before the 3rd Round of your 2010 Draft.  The first question is whether Brett Favre will return to the Vikings next year.  If he doesn’t, I don’t know that Rice will be as successful in 2010.  The other question is whether [...]

FF – What to Watch – IND vs. BAL

If the Colts Offensive Line can keep Peyton Manning upright then it will be a long day for the Ravens.  Look for Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark to have great success which could open the field for Pierre Garcon to hit a deep play from Manning.  I don’t like the running game today for the Colts.  On the other side of the ball the Ravens will have to get a huge outing from Ray Rice both running the ball and [...]

Who to Watch in NFL Playoff Game ARI vs NO

Today’s game between the Cardinals and the Saints looks like a shootout in the making.  Fantasy Football Owners should watch this game with special interest for the Wide Receivers on both sides.  If Anquan Boldin does not play today, keep an eye on both Steve Breaston and Early Doucet.  Both of these guys are good size receivers with skills to put up big stats in Fantasy Football.  In fact, Boldin’s 2010 may find him in another city if both Breaston [...]
