Martz joins Bears as Offensive Coordinator

Mike Martz has been hired as the Offensive Coordinator for the Chicago Bears.  Can Martz create a 4,000 yard passer out of Jay Cutler as he did with Kurt Warner in St. Louis and John Kitna in Detroit?  Kurt Warner had something that Cutler does not have in Chicago, good wide receivers.  I dare not compare Tory Holt and Isaac Bruce to Devin Hester and Earl Bennett who both failed to break the Top 30 Wide Receivers in 2009 Fantasy [...]

Warner Retires

Kurt Warner decided to hang up the cleats today at the age of 38.  Warner has had a great career that should end in Canton.  Fantasy Football owners are losing a perennial Top 10 Quarterback who has thrown 208 TD’s over 124 regular season games in his career and he is second only to Dan Marino for career 300+ yard games.   However, the real losers next year will be Cardinal receivers Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin (if he is still with [...]

Peyton Manning, No Fantasy Football MVP

Peyton Manning may have taken home the NFL’s MVP Award for 2009, but he is difficult to count on when Fantasy Owners are in the championship game. Peyton had another great statistical year in 2009, with 33 touchdowns and 4,500 passing yards. However, the Colts have a history of resting their key offensive players in the last few weeks of the season.
