Fantasy Injury Impact – Week #3

ESPN’s Stephania Bellhas released her Week # 3 Fantasy Saturday Injury Update Report.

The latest breaking news is that Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno has been ruled out of Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.  Hopefully you were able to grab Correll Buckhalter or Laurence Maroney off waivers.  Other notables doubtful for Sunday are Browns QB Jake Delhomme, Colts WR Pierre Garcon and Chargers RB Ryan Matthews.  Jerome Harrison of the Browns is listed as Questionable and did not practice this week.  Notables that are out: Reggie Bush, Matthew Stafford,  Nate Burleson, Anthony Gonzalez [...]

2010 NFL Preseason Underway!!

The NFL 2010 Season is underway!!!  Yesterday, some great players were inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame including the leading rusher of all time Emmit Smith and the leading receiver of all time, Jerry Rice.  They were great NFL players and probably helped many Fantasy Owners win championships back in the day.  However, I wonder how many downs either played in preseason?

Forte’s Sophomore Slump – Injury Driven?

Matt Forte had a disappointing 2nd season after ripping up Fantasy Football during his 2008 rookie campaign.  Forte put up great #’s for the Bears in 2008 going for 1,238 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground.  He added 63 catches for 477 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air.  Forte ended up as a Top 5 Running Back in 2008 and had high expectations heading into his sophomore campaign.  However, Forte fell in all categories in 2009.  He [...]

Here is a quick update on a few players with significant Fantasy impact.  This list will need to be evaluated prior to your 2010 Fantasy Football Drafts.

Ronnie Brown – Miami Dolphins, Foot,  Latest info is he will miss preason workouts, but should be ready for the start of the 2010 season.  However, this is Brown’s second season ending injury in the last 2 seasons.  When healthty, Brown is a Top 10 Fantasy Running Back.
